For starters, look up the message in z/OS V1R5.0 JES2 Messages
and follow the advice within:
Quote: |
TGs (spool space/track groups)
TGSPACE=(MAX=) on the SPOOLDEF statement
System Programmer Response:
If this message appears frequently (or continues to be issued):
Increase the percent utilization value with an operator command.
Take steps to lower the usage of the resource. |

what exactly in the spooldef statment
it has already the spool volume or it would have been a major problem in jes2
what's weired is that the spool volume becomes full very quickly although there 's no actual jobs in the spool
what else could be filling the spool volume? :| |

The short and the fast, I'm guessing, but the chances are pretty good, the person who gened the MVS (ok so I'm out of date ) also gened the JES. I might be some sort of parm lib updateable but (at least) JES would have to be recycled.
It is there (somewhere) or the very Fine IBM Manual would not have mentioned the parameter (you did double check me by clicking on the link, didn't you?). |
