A bit of history -
OFOSYSC is an in-core Assembler table, which is Assembled with all X'FF's constants and is populated by a transid OFLC which is started (with a non-zero deferred interval) by an FAS program (OFOLC01 maybe) during the 3rd-Stage of PLT processing. As soon as "Control has been given to CICS", the transid is invoked and the in-core area is populated from data obtained from file FMSC. Transid OFLC can also be manually invoked from a clear screen after CICS comes up, providing the user is authorized.
In later versions of FAS, I had thought that the in-core table had been replaced with a CICS User Maintained Table, but I guess you have an older version. The PaySys strategy is to remove all Assembler from all of its products, which includes the FAS Authorization Parser/Formatter sub-programs.
All of the in-core Assembler tables in the PaySys system (all products) are defined as Resident in the PPT.
The FAS version/release is displayed on the screen-top on the OFMU Main-Menu.
Myself and another gentleman were the authors of FAS in the late 1980's.
