Hi,
I am getting an IMS Supra error code of 200. Hope it refers duplicate record insertion. But there were no duplicates found in Input file. When I restarted the job went through fine.
"Like to know why it gave such error or what does return code 200 refer to?" icon_question.gif Please help me out...[/quote]

Hello,

Please post the actual output from your situation.

What is giving the error? IMS is an IMB product while Supra is form Cincom Systems.

If it is a Cincom Supra error, there will typically be more available than just 200 if the job abends.

Hi Giri,

From your info, it appears that this is a "user" abend (U 202 ) rather than a system abend. The CEE3250C error is very generic - it merely says that "something" went wrong. The IBM messages & codes gives only:
Quote:
Explanation: A system or user abend has occurred.

Programmer Response: Look in the messages and codes or system codes manual for the particular platform to resolve the system-described problem.

System Action: The program is terminated abnormally.

Please provide some info on the Supra/IMS connection in your application. We first need to determine where the error "really" is. For example - is this a Supra program that invokes IMS? Does this application use some kind of transparency? Is there any 3rdparty software involved?

Please look in your application/IMS/Supra documentation to see if a USER 202 abend is described.

Hi Dick,
The "Include" member in the program that describes the SQL Status Code '200' as a "Duplicate-Primary".
The program connects to the Supra database only. Sorry that this step of the job is using only Supra database.
I tested the input file for duplicate records. But no duplicates were there.

The explanation for the User abend code 202 is given in "qw" as:
Quote:

202

Explanation
Shared Code. OS/390 only. The system is unable to open the
print file.

Action
The print file is invalid. Make sure the proper file is specified.
If so, correct the invalid attributes and resubmit the job.

Module name
CSXSURIM, CSXSURIO, CSXXURIM, CSXXURIO

The records previous to the error record was processed successfully.
Would I need to look into the logic of the program?
Please post Ur views on this.
