Hi,
We had two production abends today. Both were due to SB37 on GDG files. As per the DISP parameter DISP=(,CATLG,DELETE), in one of the job the new GDG version created got deleted. But in the other job which also abended with SB37, the version was not deleted.
Why is it so?? Also tell me when actually a dataset coded with the above DISP will get deleted in case of abnormal termination? I have seen datasets retained in case of abnormal termination too.
