I am using the following to get the system ID:

EXEC CICS ASSIGN SYSID(WS-SYSTEM) END-EXEC.

The problem is that the value returned is 'CICS'. Not very helpful when I was looking more for something along the lines of ORTD - teh name of the CICS Region.

Obviously, I failed to research the correct question! What I really need is the name of the region - what command would get that?

No MRO type stuff? IIRC, SYSID is a SIT option and should be unique among the connected CICSs...
Gotta go and find the right manual....

I found that APPLID gives me the name of the region. Thanks for the help.
