Converting VSAM dataset to PS file

Hi,

Can any one plz tell me how to convert a VSAM data set to a PS file and PS file to VSAM data set?

You can move data from VSAM to PS and back. You can copy data from PS to VSAM and back. Many utilities can be used to acomplish this.

But, you can't "convert" a VSAM dataset directly into a PS dataset nor a PS dataset directly into a VSAM dataset.

I feel that is not the answer you really want, please expand upon your query.

You can copy VSAM to PS using IDCAMS REPRO.

Data Organisation of VSAM is different from PS both are not same.

I like to use the DFSORT copy option.
