Hi,

Can anyone please explain me reason for getting -804 ABEND code and how can i avoide this ABEND.

I would suggest that you follow this link: -804 AN ERROR WAS FOUND IN THE APPLICATION PROGRAM INPUT PARAMETERS FOR THE SQL STATEMENT, REASON reason which can be summarized by:

In general, the application programmer should not attempt to modify the output of the precompiler.
If you are expecting help, you need to provide all the information about the abend, including the "reason" code,
