Hi friend,
i heard while reading that thee is function call in ims/db PCB like the GU, GN etc that is specialy used in CICS?
firslty i want to know what is PCB call and
second this mean we can use IMS/DB with CICS?
can we use IMS/DB with cics? |

Yes its possible to use IMS DB from CICS.
In CICS online program to access IMS DB, first we need to issue PCB call which will schedule the PCB to online program. This will connect to IMS Database.
Simiarly before the program termination we should issue TERM call to commit changes to IMS DB. |
