Hi All,
Can some one tell me what is the use of FREESPACE? why we code FREESPACE WHILE DEFINING THE CLUSTER..?

| OK Bill. To TS the advise to have a look in the fine manual (stop line --> manuals --> VSAM) and search for FREESPACE. Surely you'll have to dig further to understand about control interval/area. |
