hi

if the name of a pds is given to a pl/1 program, then is it possible to access and read all the individual members of the pds ??

please suggest a way to solve this problem

I'm not a programmer, and know only a little about programming, and absolutely nothing about PL/I, but have you considered using ISPF Library Management (LM) Services in your program (LMINIT, LMOPEN, LMMLIST, and LMCLOSE)? They are specifically designed to deal with your scenario.
