Comparison between IDMS and DB2?

Please compare both IDMS and DB2.
For which type of applicaitons both IDMS and DB2 are best suitable?
What are thee Advantages of Db2 over IDMS?

I don't see any direct comparison first of all... DB2 is an RDBMS, whereas IDMS is a NDMS...

So all the comparisons between a Relation Database to a Network Database should apply here...
