Hello,

Visit your systems programmers. They will have information on SMF and the record formats it creates.

SMF captures what goes on in your system - jobs, steps, cputime, opens&closes, and on and on and on. . . . There are many SMF record formats.

Also, when you post a follow-up question, you should use the "reply" to keep the "thread" together - not start a "new" topic.
