Hello All,
We use different database for pulling and pushing the refined data to Mainframe DB2.
Other database being
1. Fox Pro
2. SQL server
3. Mainframe UDB
sometimes the DB2 connectivity is lost between the systems, and we get communication error ( SQLCODE is -30081 )
If this error has come all our job need to be held till this is solved. sometimes it even takes days to solve.
If anyone has come to information on how to solve this issue do let me know.
Thanks in advance

It is a connectivity issue, you should better talk to your Server/Connection/Communication Tech Group on that. |

Hello,
It sounds like the network is or has become unstable.
Do you have these disconnects on all data sources? Are there times when one or more of the "remote" servers are disconnected at the same time? Are all of the disconnects from a common facility?
As Priyesh recommends, you will need to talk with your support people. Has anyone reported the problem to them? Even if they cannot correct this immediately, they should be able to explain why it is happening. |
