Can we initialize Timestamp or what's the default value

could any body tell me that
whether we 'can we initialize timestamp'
if so what will be the default value for that

You can, it should always be in valid date/time format:

Example

9999-12-31-23.59.59.999

or

0001-01-01-00.00.00.000

Hi,

Cobol equalivalet of TimeStamp of DB2 is X(26). That means if you initialize it which is a COBOL keyword then SPACES will be moved to it.
