Hi,

I have VB file with Lrecl=702. My requirement is to convert the file to FB by taking the MAX record length in the file during run time. Please note that this max lrecl could vary from run to run.

Ex -
Assume my 1st record has length 400, 2nd record - 632, 3rd record - 100....and so on. My OP file should be FB with lrecl=632. For the other records, spaces should be added at the end.

Is this possible through DFSORT/ICETOOL?
