What do u mean by that we use cursor in our program to handle multiple record o/p but in spufi it will give u file output so there is no need to give cursor there u can directly give ur select query no matter how many record are o/p
Hope it will helpful |

Huh, I always thought cursors were input?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I specify that we used to give cursor in our program when we are expecting more than one row as o/p & we want to process all the records
Hope i made myself clear enough |

Hi,
Oh, yes, I understand now. My mistake was I thought o/p was from the program while you meant from the select.....
Bill
Ekta? Could you help me understand sooner by using a little more punctuation or maybe a new line for each thought or statement?
Thanks you very much for responding to my confusion,
Bill (again ) |
