hi,
if in a job, if you do jj then all the jcl errors will come.
like..
1.dataset migrated.
2.access is not there.
Can we search in these messages for a keyword. eg. we want to find out how many migrated words are present. |

Hi !
You could use SE (select edit) in SDSF and then FIND ALL (String).
Number of found strings will be displayed.

i have not submitted the job.I have only given JJ(JCL scan) in the job PDS. |

Hi MFL,
Most of those JCL checkers have batch submit capability. Why don't you do that, then do as UmeySan suggests? |

we can't do that because we can't submit the production job right????? |

hi
either u can use JSCAN if it is present in ur shop and then Find for that keyword.
otherwise what i l do is give JJ, then type MD9999 on line number one and then Find for the keyword.

Or he can ask his tech people to show him how to submit the batch version of jj. |
