copy records from sdsf member to a local PDS.

Hi,

I wanted to copy sysout member to one of my local PDS.
For the first time i given command XD and the dataset name to which i want it to be copied.After that the job went into a print Queue with position 8300or some thing like that.
Now when i try to copy the spool records by giving command XDC, I am getting the message saying 'print already open'

so can any of you tell me how to close that print option and copy the records from the sysut to my PDS.

Hi !

You could issue a PRINT CLOSE command for closing the dataset.
Or, by using XDC specify a other PDS/Member to save the content.

Well, if the "C" of XDC is "Close", I'd try that first....

Can you please let me know how I can use these XD / XDC / PRINT CLOSE commands.... I tried executing in different forms but couldnt succeed.

I actually need to copy the SYSOUT to a PDS.
