hi,

I have a constant needs to be passed from my JCL to the Easytrive.
is there any way to pass the value from JCL to Easytrive?

It looks like it from the fine manual (do you have a copy of them?):

System-Defined Fields
PARM-REGISTER is a four-byte binary field which contains the contents of
register 1 upon entry to CA-Easytrieve/Plus. Register 1 contains the address of a passed parameter list. This address is accessed by the subprogram EZTPX01 when passing EXEC statement PARM parameters.

Are you saying that the PARM data we pass in JCL will be available in PARM-REGISTER 1 and it can be used in Easytrive?.
