I am trying to remove commas from a VB file starting in position 79 and ending in 99. Here's the example:
George, Henry
Jones, Pete
Henderson, James d
miller, derrick
I look at previous posting with no luck. |

If you want to replace a comma with a blank at the end of your VB records, you can use these DFSORT statements:
Code: |
OPTION COPY
ALTSEQ CODE=(6B40)
INREC FIELDS=(1,78,79,TRAN=ALTSEQ)
|
If you want to do something else, please be more specific about what you want to do and show a better example of input and expected output. |
