Hi,
I have a cobol batch program which links with CICS program through EXCI link. While executing the DB2 queries of Cobol batch program, we do get SOC1 abend. If we don't have DB2 queries, this link works fine.

Is there any system libraries to be included.

We are using the translator step as CBL CICS('EXCI,COBOL3') in batch program.

Is there anything wrong with this?

Kindly advice.

Thanks and Regards
Priya

Hi Priya,

S0C1 is an operation exception, where is the PSW pointing? Application code or system code?
Could the returning data be overlaying part of the COBOL code?
You are in the best position to determin what os going on....Look at the dump.

Bill
