Is it possible to write to some file from an IMS DC environment, like we have in CICS?

I think we cant directly write a file from IMS dc program

Ekta is right if it's about an MPP. If it's a message driven BMP one may use GSAM. Recently a topic about GSAM was in this forum. Search a bit please.
