Hi,
when an SD37 abend occurs, we need to increase the secondary cylinders. Is there an IBM utilitty or way to increase the secondary cylinder of the the dataset which is abending with the SD37 abend. Using IEBGENER we can copy the same datset to anew dataset increasing the secondary cylinders but is there any way to increase the extents for the existing dataset.

Hi Avinash_Gupta !
There's a tool from BMC called StopX37 which solves and prevends such abends. I installed it a few years ago in a big touritic company it just worked fine.
Just have a look at BMC's WebSite for that great tool.
