Hi Dave,
Really unsure about ur requirement here. For an executing job, u can sort the TGNum field in ST panel, and check for the ones that are using high Track groups.
"Most of the jobs have been spooled off to CAVIEW leaving part of the jobs still in the output queue" by this do u mean the ouput of the job that is waiting in the O panel for the output to be printed? If yes, then you can sort the TOT-REC filed and find out the jobs that have high number of records to be printed.
You do a periodic check of the H panel to findout jobs running in different classes and the dates om which they were run. Mostly in ur shop, there would be jobs that would do a periodic cleanup of the H\O queues based on the job class.
