Package for a program without any call statement

I have only one host program(I mean a program without any call statement to another program)Under this case is there any packages?? Please help me........[/img]

hi,
For every db2 programs plan is mandatory............That is plan is executable..................Package is not executable.......Actually we are using the package for reducing the binding cost if any modifications to the subroutine programs. I did n't get ur question exactly....Depending on ur requirement only u need to use the package. Once again i am telling that plan is mandatory..........................................

hello chettiyar,

I heard that dbrm is bind to package and then package is bind to plan. If this is necessary that we have a package for every dbrm, If any passibility of creating plan without dbrm

also plan is the list of packages and packages are the executable form of packages is that right
