Dear friends,
I have a enhancement project.The object of the project is to change the length of a field.for this I have the following doubts..

i am in need of project details to have some experience, especially i am looking forward for any maintainance project or an enhancement project.

3. what will be the technical terms involved in this?
4. What tools will be used for this?How they will be used?
5. How to change the length?
6. What should be done after changing?
7. Generally how many programs will be there in an Insurance project
(i know that the number will not be sent exactly..but in general how many will be there)?
8. How much time it will take to change the length of all the fields
(for ex let us suppose the field is :policy holder ID) through out the project?
9. Basically what are the constraints that has to be considered while going for an Enhancement project ?
