What is IO -PCB and parameter count in IMS Program

Hi,
I am a new programmer in DB ,DC..
for some DB-calls i saw before IO -PCB and any PCB , one more parameter called pa-ram-count. what is the significance of that?

You'd best post the call. The IO-PCB is for communication with terminals. Any DLI-call supplies IMS with the number of parameters passed. Advice: have a look at the IMS-manual on this forum icon_idea.gif
