Hi,
I would like to know if we can transfer a mainframe file to UNIX server using Connect Direct Online menu.
If so where can we give the UNIX server's host name, user id and password, so that the mainframe file can be ported to unix.
Thanks

The networking inter-connection definitions are setup in the CONNECT:Direct NETMAP dataset (for both sites). The System Administrator should handle this task.
The logon-id and password are typically defined in the Process definition in the "snode-id" parameter. |

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your immediate response.
In the Netmap dataset I can add the Unix server host name and ip address. But I am unable to understand your quote
"The logon-id and password are typically defined in the Process definition in the "snode-id" parameter."
Could you please help me understand this ?
Thanks
