Has anyone got a utility that can identify the transaction/program by looking at the MID or the MOD?
Looking for something homegrown - I know IBM has such a utility but it's too pricey for our limited requirement.
Thx. |

Hi,
Do you mean that, identify the transaction by seeing the MFS code?
Normally we used to define the MID and MOD formats in the MFS code.
There we are giving the MID and MOD name as indicates the transactions name indirectly.
For example if the transaction ABCDE, we will give the MID name as
AMIBCDE. MOD name as AMOBCDE.
I am not sure, whether this one will be ur expected answer. |

Thx Ramesh, but what I meant was - if I have the MID or the MOD only, i.e. the compiled MFS code in the Format library, I need to reverse engineer the program/transaction name out of the compiled code. |
