| I have table i want to delete column in the table then i want to add new column also in the same table.can i perform those operations on the column? |

| In case you meant a DB2 Table in your question. Its better to unload the table first and create a new table with altered attributes and load new table with requisites. |

babu,
Column can't be dropped off however you can add another column in a Table. And you use "ALTER TABLE" statement for the same.
Go thru this link to get syntax on how to use this statement. |
