Is compilation necessary After reloading data from backup

After reloading the data from a backup. Is it necessary for programs to be compiled again?

I guess if i understoold your question. Data has been restored from a Backup, if so depends:

If this is files and if backup has same layout as production then NO need, if NOT recompile is required.

If this is DB2, if table structure remains same then NO, otherwise YES.
If table structure is different then you would need a bind also.
