How to know datasets belonging to the particular tablespace

Hi all,

when i get -904 error i can see the Dataset related to the particular tablespace/index space.


is there any other way to know the datasets belonging to the particular tablespace/indexspace without tools and with tools(we have platinum,qmf,spufi) in our project

look for the TSNAME field in the SYSIBM.SYSTABLES TABLE.

Hi,

In Platinum select option 1.
This is under "Database Administration"
1 RC/QUERY.

Then you will get the screen where you need to mention your table name

DB2 Object ===> T
Option ===> L
Item Name ===> Table Name
Creator ===> DB2xxxx

It will give you Table space details.

If you give Option ===> I then you will get Index space details.
