Hi,
When I run the DFSORT step to sort an input file, I get differnent results.
I know this is because of I have not specified OPTION EQUALS and the system defined would be NOEQUALS.

However, I want to know how SORT works for the option NOEQUALS to give different placement of records for each run.
Please help me with it.

Thanks in anticipation,
Pallavi

NOEQUALS tells DFSORT that "equal" records can be in any order. How DFSORT does it's processing internally with EQUALS or NOEQUALS in effect is proprietary information.
