Hi all
Can you explain me : "How a system resolves a profile statement, when a PROFILE SET statement is used in JCL"

The reason I am asking this question is because , I encountered a problem:

I used a profile statement in which I set value for DBNODE , but this DBNODE value does not get resolved in SAS member I included in JCL
Although the values resolved for this PROFILE statement were coming from some preexisting profile file that I included in DISP after using my PROFILE statement. A consulted with my colleagues and they say the file must contain only those values which you SET above , but that was not so.
Can you help me in determining the reason ?

I just check the z/OS JCL Reference Guide, and it makes no mention of a PROFILE statement.
