Delete a VSAM datasets resides in single volume

Hi all,

normally to delete a VSAM datasets resides in single volume we use DEL command.
how to delete vsam datasets with are stored in difference volumes
(i need the batch job (jcl) to do this task

if u know anything regarding this plz discuss
if u give any ideas also its really a great help to me

When you use a delete on the cluster and if the cluster is stored in muli-volume then all the volumes are deleted.

eg
//STEP1 EXEC PGM=IDCAMS,COND=(4,LT)
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSABEND DD SYSOUT=*
DELETE vsam dataset PURGE CLUSTER
