Is it a Good Practice to Change a Copybook ?
When is the case that the copy book needs to be changed and vice versa ?

Copybook is nothing more than a piece of code... so its nothing surprising if u need to change something on copybooks.

If you can accomodate changes in funcionality without changing copybook its better not to change it. Otherwise you should be taking care of all the programs using this copybook.

Its the same case as when you change your COBOL program for anything. |
