You can find volume using ISPF option 3.4.
Here is example of GDG, here 158020 is VOLUME.
Code: |
DSLIST - Data Sets Matching xxxx.xxxx068.* Row 1 of 58
Command ===> Scroll ===> CSR
Command - Enter "/" to select action Message Volume
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
xxxx.xxxx068.FILE.BKUP ??????
XXXX.XXXX068.FILE.BKUP.G0497V00 158020
|
TSO TIQ (Depending what is installed in your shop) is Tape Inquiry utility.
Enter VOLUME once you get following and press ENTER.
Code: |
IEETMS1 PASSWORD VERIFIED
IEETMS1 AWAITING REQUEST/REPLY (ENTER C TO EXIT CA-1 INQ/UPD SESSION)
|
Also refer to this link for more details
