Hi Guys,
I am facing the problem in one VSAM ( ESDS ) file.
Scenario:
( Actully Thru CICS transaction i have written 100 records. As per my expectation it will have 100 records in the ESDS VSAM file.)
If the file is allocated to CICS region, while copying to another flat
file only 26 Records copied and also while browsing that ESDS VSAM file using FILEAID it shows only 26 records.
But if the same file, If i deallocatted the file from CICS region, while copying to another flat file it copies all the 100 records.
Please let me know the root cause of this problem.

Hi callkris_cit !
I Think, in your example the lost records are in cache and not written physikaly back to DiskSpace at that moment.

| Only when you close the file in CICS, VSAM statistics gets updated. Until then all the modification will not been seen outside CICS. |
