difference between ACCEPT and SET

what is exactly difference between accepting value through ACCEPT and SET..

accept is to receive data from sysin dd step.

set is to set 88 level values or indexes.

but i wanted to know that "is working-area" allocation is same for both the cases?

Yes we declare both the variable in working storage .
