What is the Difference between LTORG and ORG ?

What is the difference between LTORG and ORG and why are they used?

Hi !

LTORG is the LiteralPool of selfdefining constant's just like =C'123'.
You code it at end of PGM or end of a Section(SubRoutine with own BaseRegisters)

With ORG, you set the Pointer to a Specific Adress within any definitions.

OutRec ds 0CL80
OutFld01 dc 10CL' '
OutFld02 dc 10XL'FF'
ORG OutRec +080

...Sets LinePointer to the Adress OutRec plu 80 Bytes without defining all
the complete Fields of OutRec
