i want to get julian date from system and i have to subtract seven from that date. then have to perform some condition based on the date. so please kindly suggest me |

Hello,
I'd suggest you ask your peers or the system support people if there is a date conversion/arithmetic routine avaliable on your system. Most system have some standard routine(s) so that everyone does not have to RYO (Roll Your Own). |

Since this post is in CA Products, are you using Easytrieve Plus? If so you could use the DATECONV macro that comes with Easytrieve Plus to convert the current date from gregorian to julian. Or maybe DATECALC would fit your need. |
