Subsystem is the DB2 region

You need to give it in at DSN prompt

FYI: DSN is the command prompt of DB2

Check with your mates to know what is the DSN in your shop? You can find in the spufi.

For your other question,
In cobol-db2 run program if I give the pgm name instead of IKJEFT01 will
work or not?

It does support, unless your program has db2 commands.

IKJEFT01 is the Program for command processor
It inokes the TSO in background you can code any TSO commands in the IKJEFT01, Its best use is running the Db2 program in batch
