Use intrinsic functions like SUM,MAX etc in COBOL

can anybody tell me
can we use intrinsic functions like SUM,MAX etc in VS-COBOLII on Z/OS.

I'm sorry to say, intrinsic functions are supported only in Enterprise COBOL so far.

Hi Yogesh,

I know COBOL provided intrinsic functions in 390/COBOL for MVS & VM don't know about earlier (or if there was an earlier after COBOLII. The manual link is:
