What is the DIFFERENCE between DB2 and DB2/UDB ?

Hi All, can any one of you please explain to me what is the difference between DB2 and DB2 Universal Database?

As far as I know tha main difference between DB2 and DB2 UDB is that DB2 was meant only for the mainframes where as DB2 UDB can be accessed from other programming languages like Java, VB etc. which use O/S.Offcourse this is only one of the differences.
