What is the strength of AIX and Z/OS?

Can give me some guidance on how a company should choose Between the two OS for their daily operation?What is the different strength of the two OS?

Hi,
I there are several factors which has impact on choice of OS.

Economical feasibility, availability of resources to maintain it , compatibility of systems you already have and planning to develop, requirement of scalability....... just to name a few.
