Hi,

Copybook is nothing but a prewritten COBOL code.
You can include the copybook inside your cobol program by using the compiler directive

COPY COPYBOOK-NAME

Before the program is compiled, the copybook is exapanded.

For more details, please refer to the COBOL manuals.
