Hi,

I think if you specify TIME=1440 then there will be no time limit for your job.

So, the job can run for infinite time.

Thanks,
Parikshit

HI,

That depends on your class which is mentioned in the Jobcard.

For Example If you have A,B,C as classes in your mainframe shop then those will have different time limits will be defined.

A may have 10min. time limit, b may have 20min. time limit, c may have 30 min. time limt.

That will be defined to your class. If you need more time to run a job then you need to change the class in jobcard.

Thanks
Devi
If I am not right please correct me.

TIME Parameter is not specified ..based on the CLASS parameter specified in the JOBCARD will give specified limit for that CLASS ,the Job will run.. The CLASS parameter values will again different from shop to shop.. the m/f system Admin will decide CLASS parameter values and specified TIME Limit values.. CLASS again will depends on Business hours

Some CLASS values specified in the JOB..will again will make the JOB can run in short time.. some will take Longer time

Cheers

Hi all,

Seemingly the default time set for a JOB to get successfully executed, depends on the time allocated to that very class during the time of installation. As per my knowledge, at most a JOB can run for 248.55 days to get completed.

I will appreciate any corrections, in case.
