Hi All, any one of you can please explain to me What is the Difference between SYSTSPRT and SYSPRINT ?

It depends on the programs using that file.
For example: a TMP program (like IKJEFT01, better known as 'batch TSO') writes its output to SYSTSPRT.
Another example: COBOL compiler (which is a program) writes its output to SYSPRINT.

Hi Thank you very much for your reply. Suppose if I give in reverse order like SYSTSPRT to the COBOL Compiler, and SYSTSPRT to the IKJEFT01, then What WILL happen?

Hi Shreevamsi, It's not possible in our shop to test with these conditions. Bcos we are compiling the programs thru Endevor.

Even it u compile your program thru endevor, it submits an Batch JCl.
U can always to your spool and See the JCL |
