How to find which dataset is empty

1)Three datasets(files) are there how can u find out the which one is empty?


2)HOW CAN U GET THE UNCATALOG DATASETS?

1) To know if the three datasets (files) are empty , just press F11 key and it will show properties of all three files and if the property shows as 0 ...


it can come to know that the file is empty or not...

correct me if wrong

I assume you are asking a JCL way, as ur question is posted in JCL Forum.

By specifying attributes like Volume and Serial.
What do you mean by GET THE DATASET?
