Hi,

Do we need to specify Retention period when creating tape cartridges? How long cartridge tapes retent if no retention period is given?

A1) Probably yes (depending on installation standards)
A2) Depends on installation standards.

LABEL=RETPD=nn where nn = no of days retention.
